PRESENT CONDITIONS

February 8th, 2012/Jax Beach and the surrounding areas...thigh high + semi clean (high tide is around 8:20 AM, low tide is around 2:30 PM)................... CHECK OUT SOME OF MY FAVORITE LINKS, Go to 'Links' on the left side of this page!

SHORT TERM WAVE PREDICTION

...should be some small surf around the next few days possibly picking up late in the week and early next week.

LONG TERM SEASONAL DISCUSSION

...winter is here and much like fall, this season usually brings consistent surf (fall and winter usually bring out the best waves) though there are periods of very small to flat conditions...because of the colder water and weather there are much less kooks in the water, a good time for the more hardcore surfers! Time to get that new full wetsuit and if conditions warrant, some botties and gloves to go with it and remember, try to buy from your local surf shops to help support our community!
